We are facilitating a Research Products show on the FAU research campus that will include Scripps, Max Plank, FAU and the Brain Institute. Scripps Florida is a division of The Scripps Research Institute, headquartered in La Jolla, CA. The main campus in Jupiter, FL was officially opened in February 2009. Scripps Florida conducts research to find treatments for human diseases. It brings together over 500 scientists and staff to meet this goal. Part of the prestigious Max Planck Society based in Germany, MPFI is the first and only institute of its kind in North America. Situated in the new biosciences cluster in scenic Palm Beach County in South Florida, MPFI provides a vibrant, collaborative environment where scientists are provided generous ongoing support to conduct high impact research at the cutting edge. The missions of the FAU Brain Institute are to stimulate advanced neuroscience research, to promote superior neuroscience education, to facilitate the translation of research discoveries for the benefit of society, and to enhance the public understanding of the many dimensions of brain research and its benefits.
