The Center for Human Genomics focuses on studies of functional genetics. Instrumentation includes a pyrosequencer, real-time polymerase chain reaction in conjunction with automated sample preparation and liquid handling systems for high throughput applications. The center provides platforms for genotyping, as well as transcript and protein expression analysis. The center’s primary focus is to support genetic studies of human samples such as blood, saliva, and tissues.
